I have this problem on my laptop (XPS 1530) and my desktop computer.
If I change in the agency the option "Using space key to input non-breakable space character" to the second option (Space key outputs usual space at any level") the problem disappears on both computers.

Someone should change the priority, the search box is unusable with this bug with a french config.
