Bug Description

Binary package hint: evince

Open attachment in Ubuntu and in Windows.
In Ubuntu, it is clearly now showing correctly. Some white panel (or white blocks in the picture), are overlaping some text, etc.

the following pdf is not well rendered on latest poppler, however it works fine on acroread :

the blue part on top and bottom of the first page is covered by a blank one, same happens with page 2. Thanks Carlos.

Thanks Pedro. You are using cairo 1.8.x, right? The document uses blend modes, which has been already fixed but requires cairo >= 1.9.4.

confirming, I'm getting the same here, acroread is able to show the pdf in the right way though, will send it upstream.

Upstream said this is because we're using Cairo 1.8 on Lucid, the bug should be fixed with => 1.9.4 ; leaving this as fix committed to reflect that, thanks in advance.

Just a note, this is still a bug in Ubuntu 10.04, but I can see that this version is still using cairo 1.8.x...

Hope that it will be ok in 10.10.

I've just tested this with Ubuntu 10.10 alpha 2 updated to the latest versions of poppler, cairo and Evince. This bug is now fixed.
