Could you please try test above file and list your environment if possible?

It seems re-build libpoppler does not fix this issue.

Using Ubuntu 10.04 with the updated libfreetype (2.4.2), assuming BCI is enabled, with poppler-date updated too,
build poppler-0.16.4, you can still see this issue even use its demo program under poppler-/glib/demo/.

Rebuild epdfview and open this file the issue still exists too.
