Current workarounds for Lucid:

1) Google Chrome, minimum version 6.0.458 and enable the PDF plugin with "about:plugins".
2) Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.0 from Canonical partner repository.

Tested with documents from DahSingBank (attached)
