I can confirm that partimage compiles under amd64.
However, it does not seem to work correctly for me. It gets stuck in dialogue that asks the user if the /dev/dm inode should be created. You can select "Yes" or "No" it doesn't matter; partimage just keeps re-displaying the dialogue.
