Patch by doing:

1. $ sudo vi /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/papyon/service/description/SingleSignOn/RequestMultipleSecurityTokens.py

2. Make single line edit as described by diff in post #15 above by kakaroto

3. Restart Empathy and tick Enabled.
