Comment 14 for bug 262086

I uploaded recent packagekit packages for Hardy to the following ppa:

I don't think that it makes any sense to fix the outdated apt backend of the 0.1.x series, since there are no serious users and it is in bad shape.

The modern 0.3.x series of packagekit requires versions of policykit and dbus-glib which are not available in Hardy.

So this bug will never be fixed.
