Comment 13 for bug 262086

I couldn't build 0.3.1 (or even 0.2.4) from source, because (after having to install libpolkit-dbus-dev libpolkit-grant-dev libdbus-1-dev libdbus-glib-1-dev libsqlite3-dev libglib2.0-dev gettext), it wanted polkit 0.8 and hardy has 0.7. This was becoming a bit too much for me. When Intrepid becomes a bit more stable, I will try out Packagekit there...

In the meantime, I would suggest to upgrade the version of packagekit in both intrepid and hardy...
