Dear Chris,

Thank you for your interest with my problem. I found on a forum that the
problem is caused by the Base is not installed by default. After I installed
OOo Base everything is work. I can use mail-merge as I want.

Sorry I haven't closed yet my bug-report on launchpad (and for my bad
english ;-).
