While testing the fix for this multipathd.service restarting issue, I noticed a new issue relating to the multipathd.socket where the socket/service is not started in the right order in postinst. Noted that bug here - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/multipath-tools/+bug/2034471
