yes sorry about that. This is a bit of a upstream integration problem. I sent that patch to the maintainer and the mailing list and it wasn't liked the way it is. I have been working on an alternate version but am still waiting for feedback on that. Since the final solution will lokk different I am reluctant to put that patch into the kernel, since it generates additional effort to maintain.
