fresh install of today's daily build of natty on same hardware...

I created a file to implement comment #6 automatically

/etc/modprobe.d/atheros-workaround.conf (file contains one line)

options ath5k nohwcrypt=1

on upgraded natty the network worked after a several-minute delay, on fresh install so far it is taking longer but ultimately working
