Ben, it isn't easily reproducible :/. My system was running for several days with kernel-2.6.31.12-174.2.3.fc12 and the bug appeared "from nowhere" there too. I will try the new rawhide kernel when it's build. When it will appear after that, I will report back. Thanks for the info.
