I agree with the last two comments. Battery lasts half of the time it
lasts on windows 7 and the laptop overheats significantly on a large
spectrum of machines.

This should be a critical bug.

BTW, is there an "official" kernel we can test against this bug? If
yes can anyone post a link please?
