hey again,
swl opened the backports - i didn't. Please look at my sources.list #64. The list shows all the standard repos i need for karmic additional the medibuntu repositories. If you change manually this list than the package manager recognize that after next start.
To Dimitri Petros,
never do this again open both proposed and backports and install all the software - your system is getting unstable. As i said in #64 it was a turnus update from ubuntu.
Ubuntu is working like this:
First, ubuntu has the new developed software peaces in the proposed. Second, if they were tested and ok than ubuntu takes the new software at the standard repos for downloading.
If you like, try this:
reinstall ubuntu 9.10 (to get all the unstable software away). After a fresh install; open my text file out of # 64. Copy and paste it to your sources.list. Do this, as follows:
Manually you will find the list here:
Type in Terminal:
cd /etc/apt/
sudo gedit sources.list
and than compare it with mine (you can download my sources.list on #64)
copy and paste my repos
save your sources.list
Call now the update-manager and install the all the standards updates.
