Can confirm with Medion Akoya E1210 and latest Karmic kernel:
Linux mini 2.6.31-13-generic #43-Ubuntu SMP Fri Oct 9 17:42:36 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux
putting "blacklist uvcvideo" in /etc/modules makes suspend work (but disables the camera of course).
