Just upgrades an ASUS EEE to Karmic UNR (2.6.31.14-generic) and have the same issues (Huawei E220 on Three Australia).

Modem connects - light goes greenish blue for a moment and then goes dark blue. System reports that it is connected (IP addresses are assigned) but no ability to use network.

Is there any likelyhood if this being patched soon ? I love 9.10 UNR, but without 3G connection a netbook is useless.
