Comment 4 for bug 394354

I'm not sure if this is the best bug to put this in, but I'm also still getting many, many “unable to read EDID block” messages (and subsequent poor resolution availability unless I fiddle xorg.conf to increase HorizSync), on kernel 2.6.31-10. I.m not convinced the root cause is fixed.

(More specifically, 2.6.31-10.34 on Karmic α6 amd64, on Intel G45, talking over VGA to an LG Flatron 882LE, whose EDID works fine elsewhere... although curiously it did once *temporarily* exhibit the same brokenness under Jaunty.)
