Ah, I'll try building a test kernel for Jaunty then. The Karmic kernels have KMS enabled. However please note that in order for us to propose this for a Stable Release update to Jaunty we'll need to confirm this is first fixed and applied in Karmic before we can backport. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates . But we can work that out. I'll post a link to the new Jaunty test kernel once it is finished building. Thanks.
