SRU Justification:

Impact: This seems to be a regression from Hardy that was not fixed for Intrepid. This should only affect ThinkPad users and provide additional functionality.

Fix: Add the hdaps_ec.ko module to the kernel. This is taken from the tp_smapi release found at http://tpctl.sourceforge.net.

Test: Run on a newer thinkpad, verify that hdaps_ec.ko is loaded.
