Comment 74 for bug 286285

I had a lockup this morning where the numlock, scroll-lock and "speed" switch light flashed repeatedly. The system was completely unusable including the power switch. I had to pull the power and battery to turn the laptop off. When I restarted, the bug re-appeared although not as intense as before. I will be testing the proposed patch now.
