I have this problem using a Dell xps m1330.

uname -a: 2.6.27-7-generic #1 SMP Fri Oct 24 06:42:44 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux

dmesg is flooded with post like:

I have to turn klogd off to be able to use my computer normally. If I do that there is no longer any trace of this problem.
