I suppose I jumped the gun a bit and I appologize, I am sure you understand
I myself, as well as many others (as you can see by the growing number of
posts in this thread), have been dealing with this issue since 8.04 (if I
remember correctly). I was under the impression that now that it is marked
as fixed according to Jaunty that we will be neglected and forced to suffer
through screwy flag fixes until Jaunty becomes official. There have been
quite a few bugs in Intrepid that I over-looked because they intended to fix
it eventually (Like bluetooth being completely un-usable unless you install
the gnome manager). Seems to me that kernel level bugs effecting an entire
chipset, plaguing an entire line of laptops (primarily any HP Pavilion
laptop with nvidia on board), would be a priority. So long as we aren't
dismissed and forgotten, I am content with waiting. Again, I appologize.
