Setting milestone to 8.10 so this bug gets considered for intrepid Final Release.
Since this problem is related to a specific hardware, the most useful information that you could give to help fixing this bug is the linux kernel revision number that caused this regression by doing a git bisect. However, if you don't use to play with a revision system, you might find this extremely complicate, and that requires a lot of testing and time!
