As far as I can see, the -xen kernel has been summarily dropped post Hardy, so whether or not it's fixed in later releases seems somewhat moot.
The PPA buildds run the latest Hardy Xen kernel available, which is why I'm so keen to get an SRU, precisely so that we can fix this problem for mono PPA users.
