Hello, same problem here:

When I boot Ubuntu, keyboard and mouse works ok, but after say 5 minutes, mouse stops working. Sometimes unplugging and re-plugging the mouse make it work for another 5 minutes.

My motherboard don't have ps/2 inputs, so I use an USB to two ps/2 adapter to connect both keyboard and mouse in a single USB port.

Motherboard: ECS A785GM-M
Mouse: Pleomax SPM-710B
