Comment 81 for bug 215604

A new driver version is availble for tests. The tarball content is a load script (load_gspca2) and a patch applied by the script to the sources of V4L. You need an internet connection to do the test because a tarball is downloaded to get v4l sources.
Load_gspca2 explains what is to test at the end of driver load process.
