I confirm this issue on jaunty 9.04 with the French Wired Aluminum Keyboard. The ù (on the z's left) and / (on the 1's left) keys are inverted. I check for Vladimir Krasovsky's solution, but the update-manager comment out the keyboard and mouse input, saying that "Hal is now used".
