Thanks @kaihenfeng! I am new to compiling my own kernel and hit an error last night:

BTF: .tmp_vmlinux.btf: pahole (pahole) is not available
Failed to generate BTF for vmlinux
Try to disable CONFIG_DEBUG_INFO_BTF
make: *** [Makefile:1139: vmlinux] Error 1

Any suggestions would be appreciated otherwise I will poke around in the menuconfig tonight
