Hi,
The bug persists in Intrepid.
I have tried several other distros in the meantime.
The problem does not happen while using the vesa driver in OpenSuse and
Slitaz.
This bug results in corruption of screen while changing VT but only when
running on battery.
So it is probably more of a VT switch problem than of power management.
