Ok, summing up:
- for lieven and arqbrulo, the problem was caused by a bad dvd reader
- for ska.ndal, the iso image was corrupt
- for john blance it was bad memory modules
- tad1073 and nebojsa never got back to us
could everyone else try md5 sum, memtest86+, different media and a different drive? these seem to be the most common causes to the problem...
