Bug confirmed in both latest Ubuntu Hardy and in the 2.6.27-7-generic kernel for Ubuntu Intrepid (BETA).

I installed the beta of Intrepid, ran full updates, and installed skype. The clicking problem existed on my Hardy install, and persists in Intrepid.

I was hoping the webcam driver updates in 2.6.27 would help out. Isn't the new gspca driver supposed to be in there now?
