I have experienced the same problem with Gutsy, with and without Compiz. Occurs mainly for ctrl+pageup/down (lot's of Firefox fun there) and for the combination of ctrl+alt+arrow keys (the shortcut I use for switching to a different desktop). Please, a fix would be greatly appreciated.
