Great. Turns out I was a little too hasty. While the udev rule does make the resets happen significantly less frequently, they are still happening. Damn.

In the process of downloading the jaunty kernel and will report back when installed. It does however take forever here in China. The internet connection here might be restricted, slow and unreliable, but at least it's expensive....
