Comment 255 for bug 88746

I've been having that problem too with High speed usb device that reset...
I dunno if its too late to propose solutions but I found this thread http://linux.derkeiler.com/Mailing-Lists/Kernel/2008-01/msg11666.html where the guy is having similar problem with kernel 2.6.24. Someone actually provided a fix right here http://linux.derkeiler.com/Mailing-Lists/Kernel/2008-01/msg12257.html.

This might help fix the problem, unfortunatly I don't have the knowledge to test this. Can anyone test it ? It would be nice to have that fix for hardy's release since the bug is still there in hardy alpha 6...
