Comment 175 for bug 88746

Has this bug been reported upstream? I am always wondering how Ubuntu's relationship with upstream is? This bug is around for about a year now, and it does not look to me, as if anybody - at least from upstream - has even had a look at it.

Please also advise if there is even a facility to escalate this bug upstream or if it would be better, we reported these kernel specific bugs upstream ourselves!
