The dmesg log of Vincenzo (initial bug reporter) have this:
"PCI: If a device doesn't work, try "pci=routeirq". If it helps, post a report"
Vincenzo, have you tried that as a boot option?
I am totally unsure this is linked.
Wondering if others have also: 'APIC error on CPU0: 40(40)' like you.
