I have an "Orinoco Gold" card that is also affected by the lack of the orinoco_cs. It is produced by Lucent Technologies, and so is not supported by hostap. While hostap may be the better choice for some Prism chipsets, removing orinoco_cs clearly breaks things for a lot of others.
