Such brief respite in kernel 3.6.5-2

Now I'm getting hangs where Gnome Shell is unresponsive, Ctrl-Alt-F2 brings up a terminal but it's filled with endless "unable to enumerate USB device" messages, pumped out at about 3 every second.
