For Hardy support, could some of you guys try installing a DKMS package from my PPA at http://ppa.launchpad.net/timg-tpi/ubuntu ? There is a madwifi DKMS package there that is based on the madwifi-hal-2008-08-15 branch from madwifi.org. Alternatively, you can build from my git repo at git://kernel.ubuntu.com/rtg/madwifi-hal-2008-08-15 and just install the compiled modules (for those of you with Eee PC).
