I agree, you cannot be marking this bug as "fix-released" until it works out of the box. If I wanted to use the Ubuntu live-cd for some computer maintenance which required wireless internet access, I could not currently do that because it requires a "blacklist ath_pci" which requires a restart, thus making it impossible to do with a live-cd. Please wait to close or otherwise say that this bug is fixed until it works out of the box on all machines.
