Hello,

this bug has been solved for me in archlinux (quite vanilla) with kernel 2.6.25. My wireless card works now. I looked at the dmesg-messages and I have the impression that ACPI has been improved. I noticed that the kernel detected a bug in my ACPI-tables or so and corrected it. Not sure if it did this before ...
