Comment 28 for bug 185470

Hi
Im having very similar issues.
Thinkpad X60 Laptop with intel chipset, Intel Wireless 3945ABG card Not functioning.
Did a clean Installation of Hardy Beta release, Went through all the latest updates.
Getting the same read out of "Microcode SW error detected. Restarting 9x82000008" .
Im not near my laptop right now so i cannot post more logs and info. but i can say that the simptoms are:
1; Cannot scan for wireless networks around. typing "iwlist wlan0 scan" fails saysing it temporary unavailable.
2; Wifi LED light is not ON.
