I am also affected by this bug. I just upgraded to Hardy Alpha 5 and have a i3945bg, unless lspci says 3945Abg.

dmesg gives me:

Nm-applet do not find any wireless network and iwconfig says that eth1 (my wireless card in gutsy) have no wireless extension, instead of this i have a new if wlan0_renamewith the extension.
