[Ibex] liferea - Read item not marked as such

Bug #289304 reported by fluo★

Bug Description

When liferea is restarted, items that I read are marked back as unread.

I've just installed Ibex, keeping only my /home from Hardy.

I erased ~/.liferea_1.4/liferea.db and ~/.liferea_1.4/mozilla/* but it didn't resolve the problem.

I join the feedlist just in case

I've just noticed another problem: the unread folder doesn't update the number of unread item. It shows only unread item, but the counter is "frozen"

Can you attach a screenshot where such items are shown?

Can you run liferea as:

liferea --debug-all

and when you close it, paste here the last 20 lines or so?

What liferea version do you have? Check it with 'dpkg -l liferea' and Help>About inside liferea.

I have the same problem on Intrepid with the same version of Liferea.

I have the same problem on Intrepid (on Hardy it was ok). Deleting ~/.liferea_1.4 solved the problem for maybe two days, but now it's occurring again.
I had Liferea from Ubuntu repository. I tried new version from GetDeb, but it's the same.

Isn't this bug a duplicate of #226401?

I have to endure this bug as well, it's very annoying. Here my liferea --debug-all (I've logged out from gnome to simulate the behavior, since the bug doesn't appear on a normal quit)
