In debian/changelog, you have "iintrepid" instead of "intrepid". You also should only bump the Standards-Version to 3.8.0 if the package complies with that version of the Debian policy. This mailing list message [1] contains the changes in 3.8.0. Currently, this package does not comply with that version of the policy. It does not have a debian/README.source file. There is a page on the wiki [2] that contains various example README.source files for the different patch systems. You can simply copy the one for dpatch.
