I do have the same problem.

During boot i get the following message:

udevd[374]: nss_ldap: could not connect to any LDAP server as (null) -
Can't contact LDAP server

I tried to install Edgy Eft either from the CD or by upgrading via apt, both ways I meet the same error.

And i would agree that the bug should be marked as Critical.
