After the updates I have the same results as in comment #52: mount fails if the password is in seahorse (just for the sake of completeness: my smb group is not WORKGROUP).

desktopcouch-service cpu usage is now normal but gwibber-service still runs at 100% cpu (this is bug #548540, which is marked as a duplicate of this one).
