Does that mean that someone with a setup with en_GB / fr will see everything
in French? Yes, it will, I've just tried. Worse, a setup with en_GB / en_US /
fr / de is fully French too (with some German :-)
I suppose few people would try that, given that everything is supposed to be
translated into English from the beginning, but this is definitely a bug.
I would happy if the stripping was suppressed for non-English locales for
Karmic. It won't cost many bytes in the French archives, and I doubt other
languages have so many common words with English as French.
