Comment 88 for bug 551290

Can the developers please fix this bug. How can a workaround still exist without any comments from the developers on the status of the problem currently. Right now i have had to shift my linux os due to this issue as all i get is the ugliest plymount screen seen in the history of kubuntu. Everything seems to be still in "status quo". Terrible marketing really.

And yes those issues of surviving by adjusting grub and so on are all fine. But they make no sense to newbies. Kindly repair this damage being done to the heart of kubuntu.
